On this webside you can find a lot about my astronomical activities. I started my astronomical activities back in 1979, and i do spend some time and effort on it. You can read about my ATM activities, my trips and more

My wife and me moved to Mehle in the year 1997, here i could make my old dream of having my own observatory come true.

My main passion is chasing solar eclipses, if weather forecast are at least fair and there is some money left, i try to go whereever the lunar shadow hits Earth.

To escape the poor sky of the northern part of Germany i joined Klaus Peter Schröder and Rod Greenings astro station on Tenerife, where we have stored some telescopes and mount to reduce luggage when going there. You can find more on the respective side.
